Milo- is a WONDERFUL and QUIET Arabian gelding. I finally got a chance to ride him to see if he's really as quiet as he was at the auction and yep- SOLID under saddle, a real good boy! 15 hands. Will be available AFTER quarantine, he has been fully vetted and had his teeth and feet done as well. This guy has personality PLUS! Check back for this lovely little dude!!!
Trinity
Age: 25Gender: Gelding
Status: In Quarantine!
Trinity is a 25 (ish) year old Arabian/Saddlebred (NSH) gelding. He is VERY well broke and sooooooooo sweet. He was Amish owned and was used to pull a cart mainly. He was "traded in" for a newer model after years of hard work. He had driving shoes on when he arrived from Camelot to my rescue, he has two very nasty abscesses, that are very old and instead of being treated were covered up with pads and shoes. We have puled his shoes, had him drained and are treating him accordingly. I have decided that Trinity deserves to retire after all those hard years of work, to just be a pasture puff and that the occasional light trail ride might make him happy. He will be a permanent resident of SHAR. He is approximately 15 hands. This boy deserves his final destination and has landed safely there! If you'd like to be Trinity's horse angel, you may sponsor him for 25.00 a month (tax deductible) You will receive credit on our website and photos and special updates every month! Thank you.
NW ANSAIR
Age: 5Gender: Gelding
Status: In Quarantine!
ANsair is a well bred **REGISTERED** Arabian gelding. He is 14.3 and he is hot, snorty and just a big goof ball! Ansair was also a Camelot kill pen save. Can you believe anyone would throw away such a well bred and cute purebred Arabian? His story is one you hear a lot... Apparently, Ansair was purchased from his breeder and passed around A LOT after that, in his short life. He went from novice owner, to novice owner, no one could break him or had success training him, so eventually he was dumped at auction for "board money" He has not had proper training nor was he handled correctly. Ansair is currently in quarantine and will then be moved to our "horses in rehab section" while he receives PROPER training, he will not be available for adoption until next year, as he needs training from the ground up, and we at Safe Haven do not adopt out unbroke or dangerous horses to the public. Check back spring of 2011 when Ansair's training is complete if you are interested in this lovely boy.
